Farmed 100% Slave Free Trade from a region (El Roasario) in north-western Colombia. The producers say it’s got golden caramel-sweet aromatics and hints of toffee but I was too busy scoffing it all down quickly so no one else could get any to verbalise anything more articulate than 'ummm'.

Cloudbreak Nouveau Sauvignon Blanc 2023

Sourced from two blocks across the McLaren Vale, this is a Shiraz with a deep sense of place. Dark, blueberries lead the charge on the nose, before salted meats and a wash of lovely, chalky tannin sweeps the palate.

Paralian Springs Hill Shiraz 2023

The majority of the fruit underwent malolactic fermentation with some stirring to build texture and the result is delicious wine with a creamy feel and plenty of lime, a pinch of oak spice and a tight tensile line of acidity.

Rob Hall Chardonnay 2024

A delicious blend of Pinot Gris, Graciano and Sangiovese. Candy apple, red currant and raspberry come together with a lovely and leafy spiced edge and a smidge of tannin on the backend that can stand up to a meal.

Made with 85% Arinto (similar to Malvasia) which is native to this part of Portugal and shows off all the varietals' trademark salty peach, lemon and florals. Fresh the whole bottle through, thanks to the chalky profile, so it’s perfect in the park/beach.
