Made with 85% Arinto (similar to Malvasia) which is native to this part of Portugal and shows off all the varietals' trademark salty peach, lemon and florals. Fresh the whole bottle through, thanks to the chalky profile, so it’s perfect in the park/beach.

Quinta de Chocapalha Mar de Lisboa Arinto Verdelho 2022

Pours pale but full of spice and lovely pears, and absolutely appropriate with so many white sauce pastas. Comparable with a north of Venice white blend, thanks to that fresh attitude and the inclusion of a little Bianco and Nero adding savoury elements, while ultimately feeling Grigio in ‘profilo’.

SC Pannell Protero ' Pinots ' 2023

Fermented whole bunch and matured in hogsheads, expect something smooth, but light and nimble. Silk? Spruce? Suede? You get the point. All red fruits with a twist of herby goodness. Great park wine.
