Sweet, plummy fruits and a loose-knit texture. It’s LoFi and a little funky but it’s Shiraz for all in our opinion, you just need to be open to a different take. Pour for blue fruits, sage and tapenade that warm the soul. Drink it on the couch with a good movie and better friends.

A & C Ainsworth Saddleback Syrah 2024

Pillowy and long. Adored by our staff at a recent training night. This feels like napping on a giant, juicy berry. Wine was fermented 100% whole bunch and very gently caressed, rather than agitated. Very inviting for light red lovers but big and velvety for bolder variety drinkers too.

A & C Ainsworth Landsborough Grenache 2024

Fumé Sauvignons are generally softer and have a little more oak. This follows that style with some lovely refinement. Subtle on the nose before a full and refreshing palate of grass, lime citrus and passionfruit – tastes like a picnic.

Mitchell Harris Fume Sauvignon Blanc 2023

We won’t shut up about David Morgan’s wines – despite the name. The guy’s got a lot of talent and we love his aesthetic and little quips. Of course, his wines are on point too, this Sauvy B. is linear and swaddled in herbs. Give it a good swirl for full enjoyment.

David Morgan Quiet Wine Sauvignon Blanc 2023

Pyrenees. It’s a joy-evoking wine nirvana where LoFi players like Josh get amazing fruit that carries structure and depth. This wine was left on lees for a year in Burgundian oak and treated with the same care and respect as his Chardonnay's. The result is texture and a wine that shows off the stem rather than the bulb, but with plenty of lemon and hints of stone fruit to keep us all comfortable.

Joshua Cooper Pyren Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2023

Black olives and blue fruits meet saltiness and a butcher's block. Great things are happening in the Pyrenees. It’s a multi-generational Shiraz that the entire family will love at your next reunion. Winemaking is hands-off in principle which speaks volumes of the grapes, again.
