Flow and glide. Like watching one of those Byron Bay longboarders gracefully carve a wave. Slashes here throw flavoursome white florals, peach fuzz, earthy spices and a savoury finish. I think my Insta feed has infiltrated my work brain.

Aromatics, subtle fruit notes and texture. We love it when drinks ooze a vibe, this tastes like footpath dining with friends at 5pm. That means it’s full of melon, subtle strawberry and a salty, creamy finesse. There’s also just enough grip to let everything linger.

Bistro Rosé 2024

Texture and a subtle orange glow thanks to just a moment on skins and a partial ferment in amphora. Crack it open when you want flavours that hit clean and luscious; like lemon curd, rockmelon and honeysuckle.

A delicious blend of Fiano that saw four days on skins and whole bunch-pressed Pecorino has resulted in what can only be described as golden hour in a bottle. Well here that is, flowing with nothing more than delicate spices and savouriness that are outshined but that little ball of tannin and white pepper that we love in this Grenache. Grown on bush vines, and raised in seasoned oak for 8 months, great winemaking and farming allows this wine to just feel… right.

Aromatics are pure, with heaps of tobacco leaf and some ripe cherry, black currant and just a nib of cacao. Goes very well with a light-to-heavy pullover.

Osicka Selection Colbinabbin ( Blue Label ) Cabernet Sauvignon 2023

Fluffy and softly red fruited with foamy, but still crunchy, red apples and just a little berry goodness, there’s some nice complexity here. It’s kept on lees to this day, so get ready for a lick of herby perfection. Shines at a house party and is radiant in the park.

This is some dinki-di Heathcote Shiraz right here. Ripe blackberry and plum, with some white pepper spice and fine-grained tannins. Phenomenal value!

Strata Shiraz 2020

This carefully handcrafted wine boasts purity in spades and is overflowing with character and charm. Fruit for this wine came from a unique vineyard overlooking the Goulburn River, sitting on rich alluvial soils in an area that’s home to many retired volcanoes—Dane has told us more than once that the quality of fruit from this spot is incredible! The Syrah is a blend of two separate ferments, which both underwent semi-carbonic maceration with 10 days on skins. In the glass, expect bright and lifted fruit flavours, with intermingling notes of bramble berries, boysenberry, and raspberry coulis. There’s a fresh acidity and energy to the wine that make it perfect for summertime drinking. It’s fantastic as is, but if we were you, we’d chuck this one on ice before drinking.
