Dawnie Ginger Beer, Flowerdale Victoria
A first for us - featuring a Ginger beer! It seems ginger beer has gained a following around town. We're pretty happy with this locally made recipe, Dawnie's recipe in fact. She isn't going to burn your palate too much, a more mellow ginger, with a soft citrus backbone & a touch of sweet. |

Buxton Wild Boar IPA UK
This brewery wins no awards for great labels, but the beers certainly make up for it in flavour. Fantastic aroma of grapefruit - palate is quite fruity, developing towards grapefruit & pineapple. Fruity bitter aftertaste with a soft creamy mouthfeel. Damn tasty.

Traquair Jacobite Ale Scotland
"The famous Bear Gates guarding Traquair House, have been closed since 1745 - when the last person to pass through them was Bonnie Prince Charlie". Wonderfully dark with a hint of ruby red. A full bodied ale with lots of dark plums, currants & dates. Delicious & sip slowly. |

Clown Shoes Tramp Stamp USA
"Like a stamp on a tramp, this beer is about not so subtle seduction" Rings true once you pop the lid, a lusty Belgian IPA hybrid. A touch on the heavier side but it’s very easy to drink & has a biting lemon bitterness & fruity fresh hoppy finish. This tramp is unique! |

Harbour Porter No. 6 UK
Harbour is another great new world Uk craft brewery. Their No 6 is a fine tasting, full-flavoured porter & it does have some great complexity. A nose of black chocolate & burnt wood. Flavours of light roast malt, dark fruits, coffee, light hops & smudge of dark chocolate.

Mornington Peninsula Brewery
Imperial Amber Ale, Victoria
Another local seasonal brew is revealed for 2013. A staff favourite last year at Blackhearts & a word from AG himself, "tasting better than last year". Lots of toffee & malt - gentle grapefruit bitterness & rich dark caramel hide the booze well. Good strong American style amber ale. |

Coronado Idiot DIPA USA
"even the most intelligent have become "idiot" after a few pints of this super hopped up beer!"
Vibrant grapefruit & black pepper wafts up from my glass. Sweet caramel malt & viscous resinous hops; hide its strength well. This is one huge west coast beer with a long bitter finish. |
